Boiler Engineer
Under the direction of the CEO and Chief Safety Officer of Pakistan Accord, or another designated person, the engineers of Health & Safety Accord (Pvt) Ltd. will work as a member of the Pakistan Accord team in Pakistan.
The Pakistan Accord office in Karachi and Lahore would serve as the home base for the staff engineers. A large amount of the engineers’ time will be spent in the field and at their designated workplaces. The practical implementation of the safety inspections, remediation, verification, and technical consulting components of the Accord depends on the boiler engineers on the Accord team.
Jobs Responsibilities:
- In accordance with the Pakistan Accord Building Standard, conduct plant inspections.
- Create inspection reports following the guidelines of the Pakistan Accord.
- Assist the Accord’s remediation and inspection program as well as its training activities with engineering guidance.
- Assist factory, labor, and brand reps with engineering.
- Help the leadership of the Accord with scheduling and liaising with the hired inspection firms to guarantee that inspection schedules go well.
- Organize and coordinate communications and actions about inspections, remediation and corrective action plans, with brands, owners, employees, and the Accord leadership.
- Make the required follow-up inspections to make that remedial plans are completed within the Accord’s deadlines.
- Notify the Accord leadership of any problems, roadblocks, or difficulties pertaining to the completion and implementation of the remediation/corrective action plans that resulted from the safety inspections.
- Communicate with the departments in charge of resolving complaints and Accord training as needed.
- Follow out any additional responsibilities given to you by the Accord leadership.

Qualification & Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/ BSc) engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or other related discipline.
- 3+ years of demonstrable work experience minimum.
- Strong knowledge of relevant national and international standards and codes.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in writing technical reports.
- Excellent social, communication, organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with usage of relevant engineering software and tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, honesty, strong work ethics, and commitment to the goals of the Pakistan Accord.
